New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport
Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport
My 90 Day was due today, so off to Bluport it was. Arrived at 10:05 and the place was in darkness, and a few Farangs were standing around.
1st worker arrived at 10:12, opened the door, and quite a few ignoramuses who had arrived after me barged to the front (Mrs BB style but she wasn't there ). I'm sure they thought they'd got one over on the rest of us . It wasn't a problem, they're pretty quick once they get going at Bluport.
The other 3 workers arrived between 10:15 and 10:20. I was about 10th in line, and I was out of there by 10:30.
A bad start, but they soon made up for lost time.

For a 30 day extension of a Tourist Visa do you know if they check if a TM30 was filed? They started doing this in Pattaya was wondering about Blueport.

I don't know, but I'm sure we had somebody on this forum a while back who fell foul of the requirement. Get it filed asap - they won't know when you relocated.

I am under the impression that the BluPort Imm office handles only 90 Day and Re Entry stamp. All Extentions must be given at the main office.
Hope I'm not giving wrong information here . . . but it was certainly the case last November. But things change on the fly with Thai Imm and I'll be finding out for sure in September. (Then of course, having found out, Thai Imm will change the rules once again). God ... I love living in Thailand!!

Don't think that's ever been the case for visa exempt and Tourist Visa extensions.smiles wrote: ↑Tue Aug 14, 2018 2:54 pm I am under the impression that the BluPort Imm office handles only 90 Day and Re Entry stamp. All Extentions must be given at the main office.

Extensions are one of the services quoted on the Bluport Office window.
I think option 1 on the ticket machine was for visa extensions.
Also advice given by the Bluport Office staff this morning was that they do extensions.

Bluport just don't do annual extensions.
Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport
OK thanks for that. The BluPort Imm does certain extentions, but not all varieties.
Good to know.

It was always the case from the very beginning that they did tourist visa extensions. It was announced that way before they opened, it was on the sign they put up (I posted a copy of the sign on page 11 of this thread) and they always had the TM-7 forms for extension of stay from the opening day.smiles wrote: ↑Tue Aug 14, 2018 2:54 pm I am under the impression that the BluPort Imm office handles only 90 Day and Re Entry stamp. If you asked them (as I did) if they could do one year extensions of stay (extensions by reason of retirement or marriage) they would indeed have told you that they don't do those extensions - but they have always done the tourist visa extensions since the outset.

Question: I have been working for the UN in Bangkok for 6 years -- about to retire this year and am married to a Thai national.
Can I apply for a retirement or marriage visa at the Bluport office?

Soi 35 to the end, turn right, half way down the road on the right. A retirement visa is simpler, less paperwork.

Isn't that soi 19 to the end then right and on the right? Soi 35 would be left, left and on the left I think.
