Just read in the BKK post that anyone caught using a drone with a camera attached to it for anything other than commercial or government related activities will be slapped with a 40,000 baht fine. This will begin being enforced next month.

So unfortunately, those photographers who enjoy using their drones to give us some awesome views and pictures... will now be breaking the law if they do so! :banghead:

Yes, there is a whole thread on drones here viewtopic.php?f=44&t=27779 , where the Bangkok Post article is already being discussed.

thai-dog-cobra.jpg

This wonderful Thai dog I took in two years ago has driven more than a dozen snakes (that I know of) from my yard. She is a gem.
That is a young Monocled Cobra in this picture. She also cornered one twice this size last year.

I recently visited a late friend's widow to hand over some documents. She lives alongside the Chao Praya river in Tambon Bang Kraso, Nonthaburi . The GF calls it a slum. To get to her house I followed her some 800 metres down paths of various standards weaving between shacks and walking above riverside wetlands. Not pretty but a slice of slum life that is being gobbled up by the construction of apartments. Most of the shacks are squatting on land that will somehow end up in developers hands. You can see on the right hand side of the first photo how close the apartments are

This is one reason that you must have a dog in the house.

Dieter,

You do not need to join any group to be able upload files. We do have this old link giving instructions (out of date) viewtopic.php?f=14&t=16714 .

I don't think Mrs BB has any plans for me over the next hour or so, I will try to update with a new instruction by 10am.
