Flight ticket

Post by Lily »

Hi all,
Does anyone have a website add for booking a flight BANGKOK to UK please ? I have been to Western travel but they are more expensive than the airlines own website. There are so many for UK to Bangkok but I cant find many the other way round. Thanks and Merry Christmas

Lily, you could give this site a go.

I have never used it, so don't know how they compare to others.

Good luck.

I don't think WestEast search facility allows for BKK to LHR flights. All departures are from UK airports. I could be wrong tho.

This site does.

There must be more out there.

I've looked back through the HHAD archives and found the following, which contain suggestions:

The above is just a selection from a 5 minute scan through the On The Road Forum. There are plenty more - have a look through for yourself.

Thanks everyone who sent replies. I have now booked using Etihad's own site as it was the cheapest quote I got. A tip though for anyone booking via the internet. If you are askd if you want to pay in baht or the currency of your credit card do say baht. I saved 37 pounds (approx 2000 baht) that way as the airlines give you a ridiculously low exchange rate.
Thanks again :thumb:

Lily, one option to consider next time - especially if you can aford a little extra time - is Air Asia from KL. You can fly down the same day early on from Swampy or go the day before and stay over in a ridiculously cheap hotel called Tune, at the airport. If you can book a bit in advance, it is the best value 1 way option by some way.
