Joelle, if yours is an older model, most car aircon shops should be able to do it. I think the a/c unit on the Lancer is quite basic.

I've always used the one opposite the PTT garage. That's the one heading north, through both sets of traffic lights then continue past Soi 51. The garage is on the right and the aircon shop on the left. They do pretty much everything to do with aircon and you can sit in the coffee shop in the garage opposite while they work!

Wife just had ours repaired yesterday. ฿2000 to repair a leak, recharge it, and clean it. Shop on Soi 112, a bit toward Petchkasem from the petrel station on same side. Petrel station is what..? One or 2 k from Petchkasem..?

PS: Its that same shop that often has big tour buses sticking out of it. Wife doesn't know if or how much English they speak but maybe worth a try as cost seems very teasonable to me and apparantly the tour bus operators recomend them to each other
