Post by Theo »

Can anyone suggest a quality shop where I can go to replace the springs and shocks on my Fortuner?

Thanks in advance, Cheers

There is a place out on Petchkasem just north of town in the area of the Toyota dealership, and on the same side of the road. My partner bought some very heavy duty new shocks for his Toyota Vigo pickup just recently. Very good quality, and excellent service.
I can't remember the name of the place right now, but I'll get it and add it to this post later.
The shop's primary business is custom mag wheels and it has many of them on display outside which are easily seen driving past on Petchkasem.
Just one more reason why I love living in Thailand ...

Call me stupid but why not just go to Toyota? The main sales guy will get you 3rd party stuff at better prices than you will probably find yourself and organise everything smoothly. Of course he wants to sell you another car in the future but thats his job. Before I dealt with Toyota I used either of two on that stretch which were both very good. By the description from smiles probably one of the same ones
