Don't know if you can choose the vehicle but I did tell them how much luggage we have and this Toyota has plenty of room, could even put a lot more in it.

I sent them a picture, via WhatsApp, of our luggage so that could confirm if the economy car was okay

Bliss Travel taxi, 1,500 baht for an 'eco car' which was a Toyota Camry! Top service, will use again.

Have been using Bolt around Bangkok and can't fault it, much better than regular taxis that are more expensive and don't want to go where you do half the time.

An update on this topic

Bolt drivers have to pay 15% commission. When Bolt first started it was commission free. Not sure when this came into effect

Grab have to pay 30%!!! No wonder Bolt are almost always cheaper!

In Bangkok I'm finding that Bolt can be a bit slow to get to you but I guess that's the traffic. Not used Grab here yet so I can't compare.

Mods, just a suggestion

That the title of this thread be Bolt/Grab ride hailing apps

It would be a bit daft to have two separate threads, one for each

Thanks for considering

Makes sense. :thumb:

Having used both, Bolt are nearly always 10-20% cheaper for the same standard of service. For getting to Bangkok and back I use Bliss Travel which are even cheaper than Bolt!
