Planning a Stag in Hua Hin

Post by kevinklomp »

Hi,

I'm planning a laid back stag do in Hua Hin next year and was wondering if anyone could direct me to a 5 a side pitch in the area (if that exists). I'd also be interested to hear if you have any unique or fun activities that tourists wouldnt normally experience. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. There are loads of small footie pitches around town.

You could take a trip up to Kaeng Krachan and ride the river. Its about 50 minutes away, so you'll need to hire a van, which will drop you off at an entry point where you can charter an inflatable boat or some tubes and float down the river. Never seen farang tourists doing this, but its popular with Thais on long weekends so avoid those times.

This is the local 6 a-side football guide. Because of temperatures here, they don't usually get used until after dark.

I did a stag do in Lamai once

We did a boat trip followed by Thai cooking class and then a fancy dress bar crawl, the ladies loved the fancy dress 😅

Beavers Bar looks an interesting place to Start the night 😅

If this is the place on Petchkasem Road, about halfway to Cha-am, you can also fish in the big adjacent lake there!

Seeing 2dandan's post made me think of Siam Milsom - quite a few potential activities there, although I will add that I've never been.

That’s the place. It has a small aircraft parked outside.
