That's a shame. I for one would be interested in knowing where and when Jimmy is playing an exhibition?

In his heyday Jimmy was close to being the best snooker player in the world. He played in several world championship final matches but never managed to win. He was always very popular with the crowd and had a reputation for playing very fast. His nickname was the "Whirlwind". Well worth watching him.

Thanks Harry V. I've never played snooker but have been watching it on TV. The top players do amazing stuff.

I used to love snooker back in the days of Jimmy White (and Alex Higgins). I don't watch it at all now. It's a whole other game to me these days. Slower, safer, more calculated/practiced/polished.... no where near as 'edge of your seat'. If I was in Hua Hin I would definitely go along and see Jimmy play. He must be to blame for at least half of my grey hairs. He deserved so much to win, but .... it never was to be.

At those prices, I'd be going if I was there, but is JW short of cash? Or is this just a way of getting a cheap holiday? :?
