Hua Hin Food Festival is organized by Hua Hin Municipality in cooperation with Tourism Authority of Thailand Prachuap Khirikhan Community Development Office, and Hua Hin-Cha-am Travel Association.

The annual festival, running from August 24 to 26 at Queens Park (19 Rai), will have over 100 food and drink outlets including sweet fish, as well as local fruits, agricultural products and OTOP in the fair. There will be chefs from over 66 hotels including five star properties in Hua Hin in attendance.

We went to last year's festival - the food was excellent, at affordable prices. Will look forward to this year's event.

I'm not sure which version is correct, but the town's posters definitely state 2 September as the end date. I have updated the heading accordingly.

I've been discussing with a couple of guys on Social Media, and it seems both sets of dates are correct. However, if you want to try the excellent quality foods from the major hotels, the dates are 24 to 26 Aug. New posters are being put out there to clarify the situation.

I've been disappointed with reports I've read so far this year. Nobody has really said how marvellous the food is. Did anybody here go last night. Was the food as good as other years? Photographs?

I hope to go this evening, so will report back if nobody else beats me to it.

Well guys, I went this evening with my full tribe. I've been looking forward to it for weeks. Last year was superb, I have been never been so disappointed. There were 6 of us, and not one of us fancied the food. We ended up leaving and eating at a restaurant.

I'm sure the food would have suited some, but not us.

Thanks for that, BB. We were all planning a trip tomorrow and looking forward to it. Saved us a trip. A shame.

BB . . . what made it a stinker?

What was on offer? What was NOT on offer? Pricing? Presentation?
