fishing around hua hin.

hi,my name is mick and i will be staying in hua hin for 2 months,dec/january and wonderd if any
body could let me know of a good place to fish from the beach.also is there anything i need to bring that i cannot buy in thailand.i will have a bike or a vigo so travelling to the fishing will be no problem.also it would be nice to tag along with anybody who knows the ropes and give me a few tips,hope you can help mick.

There doesn't appear to be any good rock and surf fishing spots around this area so your best bet would probably be to go out on a boat which can be arranged with two of the forum sponsors.

Another option is the fishing pier down town. I have never fished there, but there always seems to be a few people fishing, so I guess they are catching something? I presume it is free, but others can probably give details.

Can't imagine you would need anything specialist to fish there.

Occasionally see a Thai Guy Beach Casting from the beach north of Cha Am Harbour, and of course always many people fishing off the Rocks at the Harbour too.

Try fishing village it may be easier to buy your fish
