Or Digital Realm.

Maybe it will help getting some exchange deal organised.

Thanks SJ for the offer, but as we only pop into the metropolis once (or maybe twice) in a month, I don't want to bother anyone.

We, too, use utorrent. Burn it on a disc and watch it on the TV - far better, in my mind, than watching it on a computer screen. Anyway, it's cooler in the open-air kitchen area! There's a mutlitude of great stuff that you can download. It fills in the gaps between MotoGP, F1 the odd programme on other channels (Border Security on X-Zyte 8pm on Fridays is quite interesting - blimey, the Aussies are super-strict in customs!).

Recently:

Untraceable - Excellent, cleverly done. Slow deaths set-up by internet viewings, FBI unable to trace and stop killings.
The Brave One - Jodie Foster, not bad worth watching.
Rise of the Footsoldier - Based on true story, follow up to, and linked in with, the Essex Boys movie. Some corny acting but real life relatable stuff. Goes from the football scene into dance scene into gangland scene. Great film but maybe non-southeners won't like it.

Awake - C rap
Kings of South Beach - C rap

The Happening - about as entertaining as a glass enema.
Generation Kill - HBO series, pretty good.
Felon - A cracking movie, well worth a watch.

The best I have seen this month are all non English,

Untergang (Downfall) about the last days of Hitler, Stalingrad, both German and the amazing Russian file Mongols about the early life of Ghenkis khan. Real Mongol actors and filmed in Mongolia and Siberia.

Match Point. Woody Allen script but an English film. Worth watching.

10,000 BC. Really slated by the critics but enjoyable for me and some excellent scenery.

Meaning of Life again. Getting dated now but still funny.Mr, Creosote is gross.

Its a remake of a Thai Film, the main Characters a Deaf-Mute Assassin in the original.

I think they've changed it so his Girlfriends Deaf in this one. :?

The remake is directed by the Pang Brothers, who made the original.
Thats surely a good sign.

The Bangkok Dangerous review I read sounded good, will be interested in locations, as was filmed in Bangkok.

Saw clips from Rocknrolla which looks my kind of movie, like Guy Ritchie's stuff, not classics and a bit same same but always entertaining stuff.

I wonder if the DVD sold in Bangkok will have many scenes blotched out with the sensor's eraser, or totally cut? Maybe the best bet is to bring it in from elsewhere. Pete
