A friend recommended it to me the other day. I like to wander round Morrowind when I have any spare time. back in the UK I had a Xbox and would like to try out the new 360. Supposed to be very good. Are the ones you get here any good? The new Halo 3 is out now as well, Getting a copy? :thumb:

Im thinking of buying a 360 just for that bloody game having completed the first two, Assasins Creed looks a bit special too.

I think It'll have to wait until February though after my couple of months in Thailand and a hopeful price reduction after Christmas. :thumb:

Not really the same sort of games as you are talking about, but I am heavily into the Football Manager series (previously Championship Manager) currently on 2007 with 2008 coming out before Christmas. If you have never seen or heard of it, it is the most amazingly complex and realistic manager simulation but not a graphics game, although it does play out the matches in 2D. I used to play Resident Evil aeons ago on a Playstation with a mate but would probably be too scared to play it on my own - it used to make us jump out of our skins!

Did you hold each others hand?

The newest Resident Evil is set in Africa, you can see it on you tube it looks superb.
The Zombies are like the ones from 28 days later now though, not the dozy groaning things they were before.

Has anybody played Silent Hill? Now that is eerie.

Yo, the new resident evil looks baaaad! I don't think it's been released yet though!

Right now I'm playing Silent Hunter 4 (Submarine Sim) and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2.

Anybody here bought and Xbox 360? They are really thin on the ground here in CM. Bring on Assassins Creed :)

Have been considering a 360 but not sure if it'll work with the games you can get here. Anyone got one?

A console makes sense when you compare it to the price of a decent graphics card these days - the 8800 GTX is close to 20 grand

Bioshock looks awesome but I need a serious hardware upgrade to handle it and the box is only 6 months old :?

Buksida,

Bioshock is uber-cool, very sharp and edgy, has a very independant, free-style vibe.

Split,

Xbox 360 sounds as cheap as the uk and cheaper for the games! nearly 3000 baht per game in the uk!

Do you get xbox live working with your xbox 360 and all the gamerpoints perks etc.

I've been hearing while the Xbox 360s may play the games the online potential is minimal when playing on a pirated xbox.... :(

Rider, what graphics card are you playing Bioshock on? Its a DX10 game so should run sweet on the Nvidia 8xxx series cards, I'm looking to get an 8600GT or ATi X1950 Pro as my current card would struggle with it.

I don't think the online option is a factor with Xboxes here as the internet connections are so shit - you can barely open web pages some days.

I'm definitely considering one now that they play any games and are not locked down like the UK ones. Have you tried playing any games downloaded from the torrent sites on it?
