All that I'm missing to make my world complete is Coronation Street  and Eastenders  - I've found plenty of sources to get my fix.
Just for BB and the sad people (including me) who watch soaps.

In Corrie this week, Gail arrives home from hospital and informs her family that she's going away for an indefinite period. Where is she going? Thailand.

She tells her family that they can't stop her as she's already bought her one-way ticket and leaves tomorrow!
"What if there's a lockdown?" "No problem. It just means I'll have to stay longer!"

The general public back in the UK probably don't see anything wrong with the dialogue.

There's at least a season worth of episodes depicting the drama, trauma, highs and lows as she goes the process of achieving all the requirements to travel to Thailand Image

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

The last time I watched Corrie, Gail was a young mum. I'm almost tempted to take a look... almost! (I don't suppose it would take long to catch up! )

What about Martha Longhurst? She was part of the 'snug' trio.

Doris Speed (Annie Walker) was resident in a nursing home on my beat back in the day. It was one of my brew stops and it was sad to see her decline. She was quite chatty on some days and unaware of her whereabouts on others.

Lol. Actually met her with Anthony Booth in Manchester. They were boarding the same plane as me, (She'd be 100 years old in a couple of years!)

It does appear that there are more than just BB and I who are or have been Corrie fans!

Yes, I've been amazed at how many other members are showing their dedication by sharing their pin-ups with the rest of us. I guess they're watching Classic Corrie as well.

 I wasn't a Corrie fan, but I was married! Emmerdale was another one we watched. A mate once compared me to the posh bloke that ran the pub - that was way out of order. I tried to avoid Eastenders - too depressing.

I used to drink a lot in those days, not sure why...
