Alan Rickman died today aged 69 .
Yet another star dies from cancer
Thought he was good in die hard and of course Robin Hood prince of thieves.

Truly was a splendid actor, and very much underestimated IMHO. I really did enjoy the majority of movies he was in regardless of how high he came in the credits!
I'm sure by most he'll be remembered for the "Big" movies like Harry Potter and typical "Brit Coms" such as Love Actually, but the guy has been there for many years, treading the boards in theaters internationally and putting great "film" performances in. I'll remember him for much smaller credits, and films which I love.
Another lost to the "BIG C" - how sad...
For those of you who enjoy their movies, have a look through through his credits, and watch a couple - he has not been in many bad!!
