Bon Jovi heading for Bangkok

Post by buksida »

Rock legend Bon Jovi will play at IMPACT Arena, Muang Thong Thani on Tuesday night after their two concerts in China were unexpectedly cancelled.

Formed 32 years ago, the multi-award winning veterans were scheduled to perform their first-ever concert in China. But reports suggested the gig was cancelled because of the band's use of Dalai Lama imagery in past shows.

Bon Jovi has scored many top 20 hits, with songs like "Livin' On a Prayer", "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "It's My Life".

The band announced on their website that they are looking forward to the concert in Bangkok.</p>

"We've toured around the world since 1995 and are excited to reunite with our fans in Thailand again! See you Tuesday, September 15", Jon Bon Jovi said.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale through ThaiTicket Major from 10am on Sept 12 and range from 2,000 baht to 6,000 baht.
