I recall some on here saying they record a lot off of TRUE TV. Free now for Gold and Platinum.

TrueVisions allows Platinum, Gold subscribers to use free recording service

TrueVisions has allowed its subscribers to the Platinum HD and Gold HD services to use the PVR (Personal Video Recorder) service free of charge.

TrueVisions announced that the free PVR service, which would remain free throughout the subscription, would allow its subscribers to have fun watching the premium event, The Asian Games 2014 Live in HD, although they may be busy with works during the day.

The subscribers will need to call 02-725-2727 to activate the PVR service for the first time.

TrueVisions used to charge Bt90 a month for the PVR service.

That's always been the case Pete. Ever since they replaced all the receiver boxes over a year ago all of them have recording capability, but you have to purchase the True exclusive disk drive to use that facility. That is a 4k baht one time cost, then you can record away. I haven't watched any TV in real time in several years as I even bought their previous PVR offering which was iffy at best. This one is better but it still has it's limitations, just record what you want to see more than once, to make sure... I just record and watch it whenever I want, no worries with the schedule. You can record manually up to a week in advance or set a series record function for all the shows you like.

The 4K box is a good thing to know. They don't mention it in the article but assuredly that's what you get hit with when you call about the free subscription. Perhaps it's now 4.5K to make up for the free part. Pete
