TV service
I thought I could search such a simple question but could not find the info I need.
I have never had a TV in my house, believe it or not.
Now I am getting one.
Which is the best company to approach about providing a suitable range of channels?

Re: TV service
I think you need to state what you want e.g. do you want sport, do you want Thai, do you want movies etc

SUggestion: Visit the TRUE Office or any True outlet in shopping malls, get their pamphlet, see what's available, and make you choice. Also, ask your TV dealer about free channels in Hua Hin.
Enjoy!

I've never looked at True - it's always sounded a bit expensive for a lot of repeats.
Cable is definitely not for you.
Expat TV is quite a good 'cheap' option for English channels, and gives me an excellent picture quality.

Re: TV service
Thank you, how do I contact them BB?
Re: TV service
I find the TrueVisions Platinum package provides more content that I have time to watch (and I have a lot of free time!), though of the 100+ channels I probably only ever watch around 15 of them. I also bought their PVR so I record everything and never watch anything live so that I can watch when I want to and can zip through commercials and all that Thai stuff.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Re: TV service
expat tv is only useful if you are a Brit
Re: TV service
But they offer a free trial, so nothing lost. I agree that I use the UK service, but I also thought they were catering for countries outside of the UK these days.

Re: TV service
If it's available in your area you get a pretty decent free cable TV package with a True cable (DIOCS) internet package.oakdale160 wrote:A couple of news channels, a couple of docu channels(History, Discovery etc) A movie channel

Re: TV service
Hi,
I want to be able to pause live tv and record programmes. Can I just go down the town and buy a PVR or do I have to go through Truevisions (my current tv package supplier)
Any help or suggestions appreciated.
