The last word on the World Cup I hope

Who will be the winner.

More voters got the correct answer to the England question than any of the wrong answers even though they failed to get a majority. I reckon they can do it again.

I say the Germans! :P

Guess, with regard to your semi-final foodstuffs, how about Piri piri for the Portuguese? Or even Vindaloo, that well known Portuguese colonial dish! :P

Is this a pun? If so do I get a prize for detecting it?

The Germans are going to win this time around.
I like the Squad, I like the Players e. g. Ballack, Klose and Co.
ANd I like the Atmosphere overhere I had never seen such showing of healthy Patriotism since Germans reinited in 1990 but this event surpassed it and I like Klinsmanns Playing Philosophy!!!

Germany France final then. Who to win eh! I think I'd find it just too much if the |French won again, they are already a more successful footballing nation than us... and we invented the damn sport. :D One more win for the germans won't make much difference either way.

So it's between Italy & France then.

It was good to note that the Portuguese were up to their old tricks again in their match with France.
Domenech would not be drawn on the behaviour of the Portugal side - who dived throughout the game.

"I do not govern the behaviour, decision or choices of Mr Scolari. That's not on my mind," said Domenech.

I was so glad to see France beat those cheating Portuguese. I thought they might have learned their lesson after the antics against us, but they were even worse. Obviously the coach's directive - he's a real stroppy so-and-so. Glad he's not England manager after seeing his reaction last night. Him and Eriksson are like chalk and cheese.

Back to Portugal - in the final minutes last night there was one occasion when 2 Portuguese players blatantly dived within 5 seconds of each other, both in the French penalty area. How the ref didn't book anyone for diving is beyond me.

And wasn't it great to see that miserable cheat Ronaldo in tears at the end. Serves him right.

I was surprised, but pleased, at all the stick he got from the French fans. That'll be nothing compared to what he'll receive when the Premiership season starts again, if he's still at Man U of course.

I think I read something in the Bangkok Post that Man U has already released him? Pete
