In my gut I'm feeling that next season is going to be about Spurs and Liverpool fighting it out, with the other four bouncing up and down amongst each other. No one new breaks into the top 6. We'll see........ Pete

I can see Manure being a force next season. 3 trophies this season with mainly inherited players, what will he do when he brings in his own players?

3 trophies? surely you're not counting the community shield as a trophy, I mean the league cup is barely classed as one!!!

Remember he's already spent £200million and inherited the most expensive squad in English top flight history.
He also flopped out at Chelski with an expensive array of talent
Personally, I think he's like Wenger, he's lost his mojo. :|

When you're going through a rough patch, every trophy counts, and to take 3 trophies in his first season (regardless of how the rest of the world sees them) is quite an achievement IMHO.

It's made the Manure fans happy on social media - they seem to have replaced the screaming Spuds fans who are still screaming about coming second as being an achievement.

It speaks for itself - who will be in the history books for the 2016-2017 season? Will it be the teams that finished 1st, or the teams that didn't finish first? Yes, even lowly Plymouth could only manage 2nd  .

No-one's mentioned Chelsea for next season - interesting?

City have already started their spending spree, Man U are seemingly expecting 4 high level signings, the Spuds will be more worried about keeping their squad together than adding to it. I'm not sure Liverpool have the funds to match the 2 Manchester's and Chelsea and then there's Arsenal, who need a major overhaul irrespective of whether they beat Chelsea in a 0ne-off today.

I'd say Everton will put in a stronger challenge next year and could be in the mix.

Perhaps Everton will be stronger if Moyes returns to the place he never should have left. He was a decent manager there for a long time. It's like a bible story of being tempted away from home (by the evil United  ) then destroyed and banished to the wilderness, in his case perhaps China? :alien: Pete

Everton's challenge surely depends on Lukaku and Barkley.

Without those two they will much worse off that they have been this season.

Providing Conte stays at Chelsea they will start the season as favorites I'd say.

United will be there abouts after antother hundred plus million spend.

Liverpool will be equally erratic as their fixtures become more congested.

Arsenal will be in no mans land irrespective of the Sanchez/Ozil contract saga. Unfortunately Wenger will still be in charge and that is the problem there.

But they will have a huge kitty to spend if they are sold, plus they have new backers with cash. And a very talented manager.

And whilst he is well past his "best to use before" date, if Rooney returns to Everton as some are suggesting, he might prove to be an inspirational figure to the likes of Barkley and other young talent.

Great to see the Arsenal in full flow last night. Not often have we seen all players turn up with a will to win this season.

For all my gripes with Wenger over the years it was nice to see him revel in the moment. Big congratulations to him. And really nice shine to end a desperate season.

From underdogs at the start of the day to becoming the most successful team in the history of FA Cup competition .
