Hamilton inches closer to the Championship and it's almost assured he will achieve it next weekend in Mexico.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/41716463

Vital Spark comes through with the best race with 17 points, and the second highest winning score in our pool this season so far. The top three remain Pitsch, Pete and JJBones.

Next up this coming weekend is Mexico. It will be another late result with posting sometime on Monday 30 October. Good luck to all! :thumb: Pete

Hamilton wins his 4th World Championship in an unusual race with him finishing 9th and Vettel 4th. Verstappen wins the Mexico GP, but the BBC seems to have already removed the article and everything is about Hamilton and the Championship.

BSDK had the best race with 13.5 points. The top thre remain Pitsch, Pete and JJBones.

Next up in two weeks time is Brazil. Good luck to all! :thumb: Pete

From the BBC article above:

...."Williams are strongly leaning towards giving the seat alongside Canadian rookie Lance Stroll to Robert Kubica, who has not raced in F1 since suffering life-changing injuries in a horrific rally crash in February 2011.

But the team are taking their time to make their decision because of the length of Kubica's absence.

He has only partial movement and atrophied muscles in his right arm and although the 32-year-old impressed Williams in two tests last month, there are inevitably unanswered questions as to whether he is strong enough to do a race distance at full pace on the toughest tracks.

Their reserve driver Paul Di Resta, Sauber racer Pascal Wehrlein and Red Bull reject Daniil Kvyat are also options."....
