gumball3000 in thailand

Post by jambo »

the gumball 3000 will have a sector running through thailand
www.gumball3000.com
is this likely to pass through HH ?
maybe TT mike can performe a good matketing stunt for this
how about a HHAD sponsorship
i dont mean the entrance fee of £40,000 but maybe can sneak in there somewhere
my guess is the mib wont be doing the usual rounds in HH the day it passes through ( if indeed it does pass through)

According to the web site mission 2 runs from Bangkok to Lankawi. It is impossible to do that journey by road in a raod vehicle without going through Hua Hin. It is possible that they would use Petchkasem road. In fact the only thing constructive that the local men in brown can do is to hold up traffic to allow fast moving convoys through at high speed. I would think more likely though that the bypass will be used.

Gumball3000 is a crazy thing... fun for rich ppl. I've read about thai police and speeding motorbikes in Bangkok. The police didn't only watch... :guns:

They are leaving Phuket and will be arriving at the Mandarin hotel Bangkok between 7 - 10pm today!
Assuming they will be going quite quick and indeed come through Hua Hin at all, I think they will be here somewhere between 4.00 and 6.00.
May be worth a viewing?
