unfortunately no, as I don't subscribe to Sky/365, so had to make do with watching the England highlights this weekend.
Re: English League 2 - Season 2015-16
Plymouth Argyle winning in the the league this season is not news, just routine. However, an interesting article came out from yesterday's match. I'll be honest, I didn't realise James Bittner was old - I assumed he was a youngster on the way up. What an unusual career - full marks, he never gave up,

Does One Player Make A Team?
Quite a few years ago on here I used rave about Luke McCormick, our young keeper. He was one of the best shot stoppers I'd ever seen. He was too short to make it into the England squad, but a remarkable talent nonetheless.
Of course, he committed his awful crime, and served his prison sentence. No he's back playing for Plymouth as an old ex-con, but still putting in a good shift. This season's improved form is largely down to him.
Since he was injured, I think we've won 2 out of 15 points
He might not make a team, but we're crap without him. Get well soon.

Re: English League 2 - Season 2015-16
We're just over halfway through the season, and Plymouth have an average of over 2 points per game. We're riding high at the top of the division (a long time since I've been able to say that).
Now the madness begins, and the reality of life in the bottom tier of English football sets in. Like every other lower tier team, many of our players are on loan from other teams. Will they stay, or will they move on? If they move on, who will replace them?
Fortunately, Plymouth are well placed, and hopefully have a good chance of honours. We have to hope that our loanees see glory at the end of season if they stay - winning promotion has to look better than finishing mid-table with a team like Exeter on their CV.

Re: English League 2 - Season 2015-16
Oh, I hadn't noticed
Seriously, we've still got games against at least Bristol Rovers and Portsmouth to come, so still a chance to turn things around. I'm not sure what went wrong, but losing our top scorer and star defender in the same match for the remainder of the season hasn't helped. I am still hopeful, but very disappointed at the same time.

Some hope for the future BB ??
Plymouth Argyle have appointed USA-based lifelong fan Simon Hallett as a director after he invested a "substantial sum" in the club.
The New Jersey businessman has bought a "significant minority share".
However, a statement confirmed chairman James Brent will keep his majority shareholding and has not sold any of his shares.
"I'm absolutely thrilled to be involved with Argyle - it's the realisation of a boyhood dream," Hallett said.
"I've learned from talking to James and his colleagues, and from doing due diligence, that this is now a really well-run club."
The Pilgrims went into administration in 2011 and were taken over seven months later by Brent's Akkeron Group.
Hallett, who went to school in the city, has been joined on the now eight-member board of the League Two side by his associate John Morgan.
"Our ambitions for the club are well aligned and we look forward to their contribution in moving the club forward as we leave the shadows of administration well behind us," Brent commented.

Re: English League 2 - Season 2015-16
Possibly, but Brent didn't put that much money in, so I don't see 2 minor shareholder's money making that much difference.
We can but hope.

Re: English League 2 - Season 2015-16
Just 3 games to go in League 2......Northampton are runaway champions but its very tight for the other two automatic promotion places with little between the four teams chasing them.
Team,Played,Points.
1.Northampton 43 92
2.Accrington Stanley 43 78
3.Oxford Utd 43 77
4.Plymouth 43 77
5.Bristol Rovers 43 76
Plymouths last 3 games....
Dagenham & Redbridge (h)....Dagenham already relegated
Cambridge Utd (a)....Cambridge on a good run of form and won there last home match 7-0
Hartlepool (h).....Hartlepool safe in lower mid table.
The other 3 sides seem to have an easier run in than Plymouth who may well have to win at Cambridge to secure promotion.

Well not really, you're already guaranteed a play-off place and could still make the top three.
