Speaking of 'when I was your age', when I wasn't playing rugby I was sometimes obliged to kick a football. Someone sent me this photo the other day. I had no idea I was such a good right back...

For the record, arcadianagain is not alone in thinking that you sometimes display remarkable immaturity for someone in his 30s.
Ask your dad, I'm sure he'll tell it as it is.

(When I was your age...  )
The old man doesn't read this thread.

"What happens in the football thread, stays in the football thread".

Had to have a little stab though didn't you. Couldn't let things lie. Somewhat immature for a man in his... (50's?)

I see JT's been offered a new one-year deal. He's considering it.

Terry, you wanted the good ol' Arsenal supporters starting a fight of words here. Didn't happen but you got a good fight on your own backyard. Happy now? :D

Not really BG - just seeking your recognition that Mr.Whinger has finally reached his sell by date. Most of the Arse supporters that I know seem to feel that it's time he went.

You think so? Just some of us ol' boys trying to keep the youngsters in their place. Not that they will listen - I never did........

Couldn't help but smile at this comment from Martin Keown after the spuds went 2-0 down:

Newcastle 2-0 Tottenham

Martin Keown

Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

"Tottenham have young players, they have an outstanding manager, if they buy well in the summer then they will do well next year."

Sticking the boot in, with 45 still to go.....

I never count my cockerels before they are hatched but I believe Spurs are famous for last minute results, is that true?

Never though it would come this season, but happy St. Totts day fellow gooners.

If its mathematically possible to screw it up you can guarantee Spurs will give it their best shot!

I think Arsenal fans should all be thanking Chelsea today, the spuds never recovered after that game. Once the confidence and morale went, there was little left. Ponch is clearly unimpressed and I suspect he's learnt more about a few of his players in the last few weeks than he has all season. When the going gets tough and all that......

But, still a better season for the spuds than many thought was likely to happen, including me, but he clearly needs to strengthen and I'm sure he will.

Next season is going to be even more interesting than this one. :thumb:
