Hi all,
I have a Finnish customer who has come to stay in their new house for 4 months. She needs to find a doctor who can administer her drugs (she has them with her) and give her the necessary tests.
Anyone got any experience with this, any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any help.

JW,
My wife used to need medication administered etc whenever we visited Thailand (thankfully no longer a requirement). We just used to roll up to any hospital, including the remote areas of the North East, and present them with a letter from my wife's GP. They always did the business wherever we were, no real questions asked. Of course, there was always a fee - never extortionate. We never had any problems at all.

Not my experience at all - in fact whenever I've been there, they have always 'fast streamed' me through ahead of others. They seem to have trouble sticking the needle in the right place for such minor procedures as a blood test. Also they seem to manage to keep you waiting for hours even when there are no other patients.
Maybe its just my charm

Thanks guys, just want to make sure that she gets good care, San Paulo was not going to be an option as its too hit and miss and they are rip off merchants!
Will try the international polyclinic, couple of people mentioned that this may be a good option.
Any more opinions grateful.
Thanks again guys.

Phetcharat in Phetchaburi is good for many things, maybe for this one as well. I took one person to Bangkok last year to have a shot but this was an extremely difficult one and we needed to have a specialist.

San Paulo has copped on and in my opinion is much more professional than in years past. I have had personal experience with them a number of times in the past 12 months and I can not fault them. Like most institutions in Thailand there is the inevitable language barriers. Have a bit of patience and understanding. Remember you are in a HOSPITAL, a foreign one at that and you will be fine. To JW... Tell your customer to go to San Paulo or the Polyclinic and simply explain calmly at reception what they require. I guarantee they will have no problem.
