my company in australia regularly sets up conferences for doctors and other medical practitioners on behalf of pharmaceutical companies, they are all given free accommodation on a beautiful resort plus free laptops and other non cash incentives to attend these functions and to hopefully promote (wink wink) their product above others, this is certainly a grey area and as much as we would like to believe our medical practitioners are all demi gods the sad fact is some are just businessmen in a white coat

I'm sure it goes on globally. JJB seemed adamant that it's not so in the UK, Europe US and Australia. The UK is a nanny state and so PC that I suspect it is done in a roundabout way as will many other countries

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

Yes - il caveat emptor.
I wandered into a clinic in Phetkasem rd and was given what i thought was an equivalent replacement for my high blood pressure pills which I found out a year later were diuretics and were not all that suitable for my condition.
I suppose they did not kill me so that's a relief for me. Business men in white coats - year definitely.
