Tree removal

Post by dtaai-maai »

We have a fairly large tree that we want to have cut down and dug out from our front garden. It's in a confined space close to garden walls, electricity cables and the house itself, and I'm not really inclined to get it done by Mrs DM's friend's cousin's brother-in-law who has a friend with a chainsaw.

Does anyone know of a company or individual in the area specialising in this sort of thing?

I have to go through the same process with a large mango tree. I have been advised that the local government will do this for a relatively low cost circa 5,000 Baht. Apparently thay have the crane/truck chainsaws etc.
I, or rather, ‘er in doors is going to give them a call this week. I’ll let you know the outcome

But before there's an axe in sight, no ceremony to appease the spirits who reside in the tree?

Thanks, that hadn't occurred to us. We live in the Cha-am catchment area, so Mrs DM will follow this up with the Tessaban here.
