I have recently noticed what I thought was a stray dog in my garden each day, but I've found out that it 'belongs' (if that is the closest possible word to use) to a farmer/neighbour, who has gone away for a while.
The dog is dribbling all the time from its mouth and has what looks like specks of dust over its face (possibly mites but unsure).
It is not foaming at the mouth, but naturally I'm concerned. The dribbling is over my driveway and quite severe. There are patches of water that it's left behind.
The dog is quite small and in a bit of a state, with a very sorry and pitiful look. My maintenance man showed me today and said 'mai bpen rai', but I'm unhappy to leave it.
I do not know if Cha-Am has a vet or not.

Re: Sick dog - advice with helping it
There is a good vet on the klong road almost next to the traffic lights. Explain it is a stray and he will not charge as much as normal.
Woke up this morning breathing that's a good start to the day.
Re: Sick dog - advice with helping it
I'm pleased to report that the dog has made an unaided recovery. For the future, it would help to have a telephone number of the vet's surgery mentioned by the above poster. I'm not familiar with the Klong road, or the traffic lights.

If you are coming off Petchkasem then hook up soi 56 and it is in the parade of shops on your immediate right. The klong road runs parallel to PKSM for several km in either direction from there and is clearly marked on most maps.
