Minor correction required

St George is for England
St Andrew for Scotland
St David for Wales
St Paddy for the Irish

As far as I know there is no patron saint of the Brits - other than the lottery, beer, footy - more recently Ruby Murray.................I could go on
Quite right! I stand to be corrected, slip of the tongue

OK... Happy St George's Day to the English

I'm sure Scottish, Welsh and N. Irish members are duly grateful to be included... !

Yes, thanks DM.....Mr S was born within the sound of Bow Bells, so we are quite patriotic! Although I was born in Wales, I have lived here from 1956, off and on, amongst other places, so consider myself to be half and half  Especially if there is sport being played :naughty:

Well I get nudges for wedding anniversaries and B'days and sometimes I remember and sometimes I need reminding
RICHARD OF LOXLEY

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

Yup, that time of year again and why not wish non-English Brits (never mind) a happy St. Georges day? We have to put up with the other Brit saints being rammed down out throat..... :)
