Don't know if you watched the game on Sky or not but Stuart Barnes was talking total crap as usual! He was picking on various superficial reasons why the Maori were so dominant but did not mention once that the front 5 got totally taken out of the game by the intensity of the Maori front 5. When your second rows can't win the ball or hold onto it when they get it and the front row is being ground into the dust the back row and half backs are always going to be on a hiding to nothing. That was bad - ponderous and slow in the front 5 with no momentum behind. All our front 5 players seem to be off the pace. Without Dallaglio & Jonson the boys seem to lack steel. Having said that, Wales won the 6 nations this season on about 40% possession & territory but I don't know how Sir Clive's relatively conservative coaching philosophy and selection can work without a really dominant forward effort. There seem to be a lot of players on the tour who are good in a side going forward with plenty of momentum but only a few who can dig their way out of a hole with either inventiveness or grit. I think our front five need to stop taking the valium and start taking the Ya Baa! Aaaagh! :banghead: Don't Panic!

Hi Jaime
Watched it over here in Japan, but got the NZ commentators.
Darcy had a howler!!!!!!And the back row was outplayed in every aspect.
I felt the pack lost a little momentum when Sheridan went off
Stephen Jones not to blame, still in line for the test jersey, but Michael Owen(my tip for number eight) set to lose out to Martin Corrie.
Not the end of the world, just felt like it
