Are Collard Greens the same as Kale ?
Whether the same or not, can they be obtained in Thailand ?
Re: Are Collard Greens the same as Kale ?
Chinese Kale is a common ingredient in some Thai dishes and is available in local markets and some supermarkets. How that differs from western Kale, I haven't a clue and I've never heard of Collard Greens at all.

Collard greens are a basic part of southern cooking here in the states.
Slow cooked with some pork and a touch of vinegar, ummmm
May have to make some

i have not seen Collard Greens here in Thailand. I eat them all the time in the USA.
i will ask around and see if i can find them.
Kale with garlic is sort of the same here but not really. The Thais cut the the kale up in small pieces.
very small portions like everything here.
