Kids friendly restaurants in the city center?
Re: Kids friendly restaurants in the city center?
I don't really eat in town anymore but when I'm in HH I always make a point of going to see Jam long (spelling) and Gao, the owners of Bam Bams, good people. Jam long is also funny as , proper dry humour.

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

The post has been dead for a while people, time to wake it up, anyone got any recommendations as to where is good to take my 3 year old drama queen? (somewhere to keep her entertained whilst I smash the big eats)

Magic Balloon Park would have been one good option but they have closed as far as I know. Hua-Hin Fishing lodge apparently has a play area for kids, and I've been told their food is very good and so are their prices.
Another option might be the Veranda Hotel located right on the beach just before you reach MV if you are heading south. They don't have a play area, but there is direct access to the beach, and if you pick the right table you'll be able to keep one eye on your kid.
Mr. Burger 3 could be another option. No toys or anything, but plenty of space for your little one to run around, or she can buy packets of food to feed the fish.

Electric Mango....not really city centre but worth the trip out Soi 112. Awesome outside play area and huge play house! Oh, and draft beer to keep the dads happy

Electric mango is excellent, have tried that and I can't see anything beating it. Mr burger 3 I've heard of this but for the life of me can't find out where it is, Klong road ? but I have no idea where that is (Im pretty new to HH) Cheers all

If you travel north along the main road, turn left into soi 6 just before the large Toyota dealership. Go up soi 6, cross the train track, and continue on to the traffic lights (about 100 m). Turn left at the lights and you will find Mr. Burger 3 about 200 m away, directly after the first little bridge.
While Mr. Burger 3 is by no means a "top" place to eat, it is very nice and pleasant. Lovely setting day or night, and prices very reasonable. It can get quite busy around dinner time during the high season, but usually not a problem.
