Locations that serve a "good" Amercian / English breakfast.
Re: Locations that serve a "good" Amercian / English breakfast.
Went to The Simbo today for breakfast at 09.30 and it was shuttered-up. Perhaps not open on a Sunday morning.

I wish I could find the sausages Coffee Club uses. Best I've had in Hua Hin.

I really enjoy a good sausage (yes, oo-er missus ), but I doubt your ideal sausage will be the same. Many nationalities prefer these plastic hot dog sausages like you find in 7-11, and find your regular British type sausage disgusting. I don't have a problem with that, we all have different tastes. If it's a hot dog type sausage, I'm not interested.
So, hopefully I've explained there is no prejudice, and I'm not trying to change the world.
Is the Coffee Club sausage the traditional British type of sausage or the hot dog variety please?
To me, the best breakfast sausages in the area used to be the ones sold in Morning Bread. However they changed their brand, and lost a regular customer. I now tend to use anywhere selling Hua Hin Ham & Bacon sausages, although there are a few pretenders out there these days that come close. However, if you really enjoy a British type sausage, you can't beat some of the Hua Hin Ham & Bacon premium range only sold in Bluport - some of those are fantastic, but a little pricey to be served with a regular breakfast in Hua Hin.

Hmm, maybe we need a "sausage" thread similar to the pies.
I like one now and again, but here it is anybody's guess what is inside of them.
Found the following recently in BigC, Bangkok:
Asia West, Pork Cumberland Thick Sausage. Very nice!

These are the best sausages (he says modestly) you can get in Hua Hin, but they’re my home made ones and not for sale.
Sorry,
Sorry,

Yes, they make their own. Much tastier than a Cumberland or any of the others I've found in Hua Hin.
Remember, I'm American, British sausages don't work for me.

It was shuttered at about 5pm as well. I go past quite a lot and most times I can never tell if it's open or shut, that's why I have never bothered with it. Don'r respond to queries, no menu availabe of their fb page, I just can't be bothered with places like this.

But the Coffee club is Australian, so more akin to British sausages.

I take RCer's comment to be aimed at me, which tells me Coffee Club sausages would disappoint me, for which I thank him very much.

What's the difference between US and UK sausages? Surely we're not talking about the frankfurters they use in hotdogs...?
(And a follow-up if I may: if they make their own sausages, how would you be able to find them elsewhere?)
This is the way

Obviously if they make their own, they won’t be available for sale elsewhere (unless of course they sell them similar to HHH&B do)dtaai-maai wrote: ↑Mon May 14, 2018 3:49 amWhat's the difference between US and UK sausages? Surely we're not talking about the frankfurters they use in hotdogs...?

^^Quite, DB, that was exactly the point I was making. Unfortunately I forgot to include the crucial quote!
