Laudatory for TOT

Maybe time to slim down Digital Realm ?

To the subject:

Last morning whilst on the net I decided to do a speed check in anticipation of receiving a new IPTV box which requires 5 Mbps connection.

Only achieving around 3 Mbps I emailed TOT saying that I am paying for 6 Mbps (don't ask me how I found it but they do have a complaints page in English).

Imagine my surprise when early afternoon 2 TOT guys turned up and asked if my internet was fixed!

Asked early last year to go on 10 Mbps package but told that I am too far away from server. Now after a bit of rerouting I am now receiving 7.1 Mbps!

Well done Chaspul, nice to see someone giving credit for good service. I have always had first class service from the TOT engineers.

I have always found their service quite good. Changed the router without question and generally a good response. I notice that Chaspul had the work done in the morning which is when speeds are normally good. Not wishing to put a damper on things but you may find that in the evenings and during weekends when we are overrun with the Bangkok mob the internet speed will plummet. My 10 Mbps collapses to less than 3 during these times. This is of course very much subject to the distribution box supplying your area and I hope you keep the speed required for your iptv but I have my doubts. I have a CTH satellite fitted which means I can watch live sports without continual buffering.

Still 7 Mbps.
