Re: [ADVERTORIAL] Thai Expat TV
Are you talking about Internet rather than the Expat TV package?Dr Mike wrote:I just talked to 3BB inVillage Mkt--- 590b amonth, that sounds OK BUT they want 12 months up front 7K baht--any way you can get shorter payments , say 3 months
Assuming you are talking about Internet, I thought all the providers give you the option of paying monthly, but offer a discount for annual subscription in advance!!
Re: [ADVERTORIAL] Thai Expat TV
You might have problems with packet loss on the cheaper package with 3bb,i had a lot of drop out and buffering when i live streamed on the 590 plan.I am now on the 990bht plan and it is much better, not perfect, but can watch most shows now with little problems.Im on the yearly plan and received an 8% discount, suits me i will keep it for a year at leastDr Mike wrote:I just talked to 3BB inVillage Mkt--- 590b amonth, that sounds OK BUT they want 12 months up front 7K baht--any way you can get shorter payments , say 3 months
Re: [ADVERTORIAL] Thai Expat TV
Ive now got the ex pat TV and i have the cheapest package with 3BB and can watch everything perfect with no problems at all ,i would recommend this service to anyone ,i now find myself going to bed early to catch up on all the documentaries I've been missing as well as top gears new series on BBC2
Re: [ADVERTORIAL] Thai Expat TV
The cheap 3bb package is no longer a problem with the new Expat TV software. Programmes build a buffer as they come down. I've just been away for a couple of days, and it worked perfectly well on 1Mb download speeds.

Re: [ADVERTORIAL] Thai Expat TV
Any prospect of getting other-than-UK programming in the foreseeable future? In particular, I'd like USA coverage.
Re: [ADVERTORIAL] Thai Expat TV
Well the long awaited new set top box was launched about a week ago. I was on the verge of buying one until they told me that my monthly subscription would double No thank you.

Sorry, but I have problems with the new set-up.
When I choose BBC1 and I get the line-up of days of the week on top
and click on the day I want - NOTHING happens!

I'm sure they must have a support line, or at least an email address you can use to ask for advice.
