Put the laptop in the fridge overnight. NOT THE FREEZER.

The take it to your maintenance company and tell them to clean it out.

Check out how the little red buggers are getting into your house and zap them with a spray.

The Lord will allow this if the creatures are a threat to our own existence.

Earlier in this post, there were a few people experiencing problems with pop up adds etc on their computers.
I followed all of the instructions re loading firefox etc, and running various spyware programs across the computer.
Only problem was that the trial programs that I ran did not allow you to complete the file cleaning processes.

I have now found one that actually works and allows full use of the program (there is a facility on the site for a donation to further development if you want to do that).

The program is called "Crap Cleaner" (the name is not a wind up, and I also have nothing to do with the product), and have sucessfully ran across both my desktop and laptop, and both are now 100% free of any annoying pop up adds. I have also recovered a lot of space on my hard drives.

The program goes across the whole of your system and also has the facility to make a back of anything that is removed from your registery, so if you happen to remove files by mistake, you can restore them to you system and start again.

I hope that this info will help any of you that still have problems with the unwanted pop up adds.

Did you try Spybot S&D 1.4, full program (not trial) can be found here:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/

Also theres Adaware SE, full program here:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/

These are the best two I have found. M$ bought out a pretty good one but then started charging for it. The cheek of it really is that you only need these products to remove crap from swisscheese Microsoft software.

linktolinh; it's ok to put your laptop in your fridge, but before you do: put the pc in a plasticbag and seal it off.
A better way to kill the bugs might be to put your pc in the same bag and just fill the bag with all your toxic waste you can find.

I once got rid of ants in my amplifier by putting it in a plastic bag together with a couple of sheets of tissue
lightly sprayed with household poison such as Raid or Baygone.

Two hours later my amplifier was debugged.
