Hua Hin. Daily Photo
Re: Hua Hin. Daily Photo
Rather than quoting bit by bit what you said, I stand my ground , the screenfull of links is not what is expected from a Mod. Backapckers do that on their sites.
And it looks ugly, whatever might be under the links.

loua_oz, if this is how you put yourself across at the Sheraton, I am totally not surprised their customer service was shit. If I was a mod on this forum I would tell you not to let your arse hit the door on the way out.
Re: Hua Hin. Daily Photo
But you are not the Mod.
You somehow twisted my posts : I never said Sheraton customer service was bad. It was superb, I said that repeatedly. The weddings were not customer service.
Perhaps, you can stop advertising in the media I own.

Re: Hua Hin. Daily Photo
Could this have anything to do with your need for us all to post photos in a particular format specified by you?
To be honest, I find your strange "photos and Mods" fetish rather disturbing. However, I do understand that cravings can be indescribably intense at times, so even though it is not something I would usually do, I and bending the rules and I'm going to add one picture which I personally took with my Casio camera at Khao Takiap on the southern side of Hua-Hin. I do of course first have to try and figure out how to include photos in a post.
Don't try to impress me with your manner of dress cos a monkey himself is a monkey no less - cold fact

I wasn't aware of the differences between JPEG and PDF images. From what I have been able to ascertain from my first attempted research is that PDF format requires less storage space and the ability to get a reasonable quality print, even if it is taken from a web site.
My question is, by converting my JPEG images to PDF before uploading will that mean I no longer need to resize them down to the smallest level and therefore avoiding them being rejected because the file is too large?
What are the implications if somebody wants to print an image that has been posted here?

I assume you mean PNG as opposed to PDF? Certainly do not post images as PDF's as PDF is a document format and files will most likely be larger and won't display inline.Peroni wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2017 10:31 am I wasn't aware of the differences between JPEG and PDF images. A quick goole tells me that PNG uses a "lossless" compression algorithm, so you don't loose any of the picture quality when saving in that format, whereas a JPEG image uses "lossy" compression. A lossy compression (JPEG) format will most likely generate smaller files than a lossless (PNG) format.
When saving a file as JPEG you can also specify the amount of compression applied; the higher the compression the more data lost from the original image, but the smaller the file size.
Re: Hua Hin. Daily Photo
I am aware of the JPEG and that it is "lossy" compression which is variable to enable the file size to be reduced with the appropriate loss of quality.
No, I did not mean PNG. I had already undertaken a Google search for "JPEG to PDF Conversion" and there was a great number of listing. As I mentioned this was my initial attempt at researching this file format, I have more to learn.
The reason that I looked up this file format in the first place was that "loua_oz" referred this file type in his original post to this thread(tread).

Lets face it the village that loua_oz came from is missing their idiot.
The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
