Would an education section be a useful addition to HHAD? It could be used to discuss schools in the area, courses for adults and children, teaching questions and answers, and any topics on education.

The majority of of posts in the current "Lifestyle & Family" section are related to education anyway.

Your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

Yes, I think it may well be a good idea.

It may be a good idea as well to use as a depository for links to international schools throughout the country, especially those that board students, to give parents insight. Pete

Don't see why not, as there seems to be more input on this subject as time has gone along. It's a relevant subject and will only become more of one as time goes by with more people moving to the area that wish to get decent info, not to mention more people will be seeking employment in the field too.

There are plenty of knowledgable people on the board that can contribute to it and a fair few know what's going on outside HH too. Could also give new opportunities for further sponsors to get involved if there was a specific section.

Thanks for the positive feeback, we'll go ahead and setup a new section. It can also be used to link to educational material on the internet and, as suggested, as a reference for information on local and regional schools.
