Save option on posting page

Post by Spitfire » Fri Oct 03, 2008 3:22 pm

Maybe there is one and I can't find it(let me know where), but if there isn't, then can we have an easy to see square that allows us to save a post.

The reason I'm asking is that at times I have written a post that can take a while to do and have tried to submitt it and have been unsure whether it 'made' it or not, or have had connection problems and 'lost' the post and had to start again. The longer the post, the more fustrating it is. It would also allow you then check by going to the forum to see.

I understand about the 'Your message has been entered successfully' bit showing up, but there is still a grey area.

Don't know if anyone else has ever had this problem, but sometimes I do.

It would be great to have a 'save post' square, just in case.

Just hit the 'preview' button periodically - it saves the post and shows you how it'll look before it goes live.

Why dont you just use copy?

If it doesnt submit properly you can just paste it back in.
