Meeting young people (20-45 years)

Post by angela »

Hi,

At the moment we are living in hua-hin for a period of three months. Afther that we may come back for a longer period. Unfortunately we do not know many young people... and that's a shame.

Therefore, I would like to arrange a meeting to get to know more people in the ages of around 20 to 45 years old. Are you or do you know someone in this age group? Please leave a message if you like to meet within the next 2 to 3 weeks (as a group, somewhere in town).

I'm 31 years old, my husband 34. We are from the Netherlands. We have a daughter, 5 years old.

I think you would have had more success if you
did your title, Want to meet people over 45.

^^^but i do wonder why there are not more young(er) people living here, its my most favourite part of Thailand for location, expats, tourists, variety of shops, travel connections etc.

Im not saying its a good or bad thing...I seem to get along better with old(er) (50+?!) people anyway

Not so many younger people like HH, I guess. Most prefer Pattaya, Phuket, etc. Too quiet here.

Though I do love Hua Hin, coming here for the fourth time already, 6 months each and I am still 31:)

I've been to Phuket & Patts (uncle lives there)... generally speaking I'm not really into the kind of people who frequent those 2 areas...hope they stay there :D

Hello,

I'm new in town for about a month and would like to engage with people in general. I fit in the age category but age doesn't matter much to me at the moment. I don't know a soul here but have been blessed with the chance to house sit. If there are members here who are active and do things like hiking or going down to the beach are or who would like to play tour guide to just show around the place for me with new company, then reply.

Cheers.

Hello Edward,

I'm doing my best to post at least 10. I'm sure I've already did but waiting for the lift to take place. Early walks sounds good. Although I'm still adjusting to the heat and humidity.

Thanks for a quick reply.

7 only? Hmm...thought I was at 10 by now. I'm located not right on Hua Hin. Don't even know what the area is called but it's near Pinky Bar. Can anyone tell me what that area is called?

Also I would be interested in doing some hikes. What area is easy to get to that has decent easy to medium trails? I don't have full gear with me but I figure sneakers would do.

I'm also a bit of a photographer so if there are any outings of group of similar interest that want to hang out that would be cool with me.

Thanks
