Watch strap

Post by fabman »

Hi guys, can someone please tell me a shop / stall where I can buy a watch strap? I tried a couple of the markets but they only have watches for sale and looked puzzled when I asked about just changing the strap

I've been there 3 times in the last month. One for a repair and twice for batteries. I found them quick and inexpensive. I guess you caught them on a bad day.

Always been good and responsive with me too, repairs done quickly the same day. I never noticed a girl there though. Maybe asleep in a corner?

I must say that is the most important and helpful information.

Bluport has two places. One on the 2nd floor, where the watch repair section is and one in the basement, turning left at the bottom if heading down to the carpark from near Gourmet Market. Both sell a really good range of straps and bracelets. I have bought from both.

Not being funny, but are you in the market for a really luxurious strap? I bought online from a company in Paris a few years ago. Huge choice of materials and custom measurement/style. Never been happier. I couldn't afford one now sadly.

Their service is very good,

Jesus wept, I can't believe those prices! There are loads of strap manufacturers now making excellent quality straps at a fraction of those prices. But if you're happy to pay, then good luck to you.

I was happy, it's a strap that will stay with the heirloom (the original actually fell apart after a couple of years due to wrist dampness, despite being on a very expensive watch) and they incorporated the original named tang buckle which I sent to them. And no, I can't pay those prices now, but some people have money, eh.
