Looking for a new or used kayak like the one above or a SUP board.

Any ideas where to source one locally?

Still waiting on Tri-yak info, that would be great for the kids.

Contacted KBA also, thanks.

My curiosity is aroused now, would love to see a kayak made from bottles, can you post a pic?

Got it, cheers - have requested a few fots, the price is so close to that of a new one though - shame the Feelfree company doesn't answer email. Any other suggestions welcome ...

This is the importer of Feelfree Kayaks. I know it is Bangkok but it won't hurt to contact them. Maybe they can point you in the right direction (retailers). Perhaps you can even order one in Bangkok and have it delivered to your home. Kayaking is quite popular with tourists in Phuket, Krabi and Phi Phi so you might expect there are retailers around, at least in the South.

Tried already, email bounces, looks like they need a webmaster!

Will buzz them instead.

If you have any contacts on Samui, it might be worth asking there. I bought a 2nd hand kayak there for 6k and sold it for the same price a year later. That was a looong time ago, though...

I've seen less fancy versions of those things for sale at those huge places on the way down from Bangkok that sell everything made out of moulded plastic like ice boxes, barrels and canal punts. I don't know what they charge for them but I would've thought it's a lot less than those prices above. They look the same but are just a bare moulding without any fittings and it would certainly do the job unless you're a serious canoeist.
