Looks like the Villa Market in town is getting a large extension, they have enclosed the original doorway and the restaurant adjacent is now vacated. Anyone can confirm this?

Popped into villa at venezia last week to get a sandwich and it wasn't there. What's more the back entrance to palm hills was closed so I had to go a long way round. bizarrely there was a security guard at the gate but he wouldnt open them for me.... Any news on when the new one opens or are they going to stick with the existing small one ?

Not found a new one but the one in town has been expanded.

I have it from a guaranteed source that the intention is to open a new store in Hua Hin within the next few months. The existing expanded original store will be retained. :thumb:

I would think Villa would do all they could to stop Foodland and/or Tops from opening an outlet. No idea if they have plans, but surprised one or both is not there already. Pete

Not seen them here yet, but Blueport will need a store to get everyday shoppers in, else it could turn into another Collonade.

Foodland and Tops is geared more towards European and UK food. Things like cheeses, deli meats, canned items and various frozen items they import. Pete

It's going to be five times bigger than any 7-11 in Thailand and will be the biggest 7-11 in South East Asia. All the same produce, but three times the quantity on the shelves... so customers will never be left disappointed by an empty shelf again.
