Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
This is a photo I took a couple of years ago from the jetty in Hua Hin, one of many showing the sunrise over the Gulf of Thailand.

I have seen the photos in the tread, some beautiful and inviting. None from the view point. Let me chip in
Khao Takiab in the distance
The Hilton hotel, the center of the place

You can delete my post then. What I saw in the link another Admin provided, nothing like that.
Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
No, your post is good. There are many photo threads on this forum. The link I posted was from the Whats On & Where To Go collection. We can never have enough photographic memories.
I was only responding to your, "None from the view point" comment.

Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
Were there any same pics in that tread that another Mod pointed me at?
I would no post if there were.

Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
That post is from June 2 2014. Since someone put me on the spot for replying to 2 months old Marriott tread, I am just ignoring anything more than a month old.Big Boy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2017 7:32 pm Albeit, a very bad day, but it was covered elsewhere viewtopic.php?f=1&t=27129&p=347322&hili ... nt#p347322
Then, it opens me up to remarks the same thing was posted back in 2004.
Mod Edit: Loua_oz, don't let anyone "put you on the spot" about anything on here except the moderators or admin. Ignore nothing regardless of thread age unless we ask you too.
Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread

Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
Is that pier a military only installation?
Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
What is the logo on the Thai Airways airplanes tail fin? (The pic is from the net)
(My pictures now)
It is this, "King Flower", "dok raak", the flower of love. (I picked it from the ground while the crew was preparing the flower arch for yet another wedding at Hua Hin Sheraton, you can see the canopy of flowers in the pic)
Not any love but one for the family and for the king.
Never grows in isolation, always together.
The symbolism of the flower and the shape made it at the Thai Airways logo.
Taxi drivers often hang them on their rear vision mirror.

Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
I thought this was quite humorous, would never see anything like this in Australia

Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
That little car always makes me smile. We always guess which way the train will be going when waiting at raik crossings. It's always a bit of a let down when that one goes through.
