Also, the Boat restaurant move to the area after they squeezed out of their place in central Hua-Hin, and I know they really need customers, so you could always nip in for a beer. A very nice Thai family that never forget you once they've met you.
Worth a trip if only for that. The Boat was my 'local' when I lived in Hua Hin and I was more than a little disappointed when they had to move because of the extortionate rent increase the guy wanted at the old place. Saying that I always pop in to their new place when I'm down. As you said Takiap... a very nice family indeed. :cheers:

I've just come across a photo of myself and a few guys sitting having a beer at the "The Soi Diner" which was in the area where the dinosaur market is today, I wonder if that is how it got it's name?
