Another visual resource. You can move it around to get Thailand and everywhere else in our area, plus over to India and down to Australia/New Zealand and Antarctica. Especially good to track typhoons as they develop.

According to ThaiMet...

Hua Hin had 83mm in July(down 18% on average)

Overall for the calendar year to date we remain down 35% on average

I’m much more interested in what the weather is likely to be today/tomorrow, than how much rain we had yesterday/last week/month.

That difference(between where you are and Soi 51/53 beach) sounds dead right to me

Just the way it is

I truly wish that was accurate

Today it went black as ace of spades for an hour or more and looked like a monsoon was coming over HLF

In the end there was a shower for 20 mins after which I could have played 9 holes of golf in sunshine but I was so put off by what my eyes saw beforehand

Sorry to disagree with you but it was and typically is...it just said expect rain at 15.00 and thats all we got

You said use your eyes but what I saw was far far worse than what came. And that's typical. You can't really tell when the prolonged heavy stuff is arriving

As a golfer I really wish you could tell by using your eyes but you can't, not where i live anyway

Just to compare. I've just spent 3 months in the UK both in the north and then in the South. In all that time I can't recall a single 24 hour forecast to be even close to what transpired.
