Is East Square Being Refurbished Again?

I drove past there earlier, and it appeared yet another refurbishment is taking place.

It was far better when it was Satukhorn Square. I used it several times a week. It's a shame that they've spent millions of baht without success when it wasn't broke in the first place. One place that I do miss.

I noticed the other day that the hotel has a new name, so I assume the whole place has been bought? Be interesting to see what they do with it.

The New Horton, according to booking sites. I didn't have time to clock that as I drove past. Looking at the pics, the rooms seem to have had a cosmetic make-over.

I liked it. The rooms were huge compared to most at the price point and very comfortable. I stayed there a few times when I could get the right deal. Breakfast was rubbish though - maybe that has improved. I usually went to McD.

^^ Yes, New Horton. The name is on a sign over the car park entrance.

Ohh my Buddha!
How many refurbishments had this place since it was converted from Satukarn Square into this attrocity they called it a downtown Mall once?

The term Market Research seems to be very very foreign to them owners of this place. The last time I visited this place was.... thinking... remembering..... ohh holy mother of pahookapath.... It was 2010 or 11, I din’t Really know anymore. This place was so dead No other living soul would enter.

If I would be the owner of thus I would tear down the Mall part re-establish Satukarn Square and Keep the Hotel.

What a Disaster this building has been!!,,
