Re: Hua Hin Video thread
I just watched about 10 videos of HH in the rain. Thanks BB ,JJB and Rider. All great vids, and especially the ones with sound and English on them such as the pedestrian one. F--n idiot!! That about captures the moment I almost ran over someone in my travels in HH. When I stayed in Hua Hin last year...

Re: Hua Hin Video thread
Thanks for the videos. I only have pictures of Hua Hin and they are all to large of format to
place in the forum. Another good reason to keep returning to Hua Hin as part of my visits to
Thailand. I tend to spend too much time in Bangkok where my wifes family lives.
Thanks again to all!

Re: Memorable incidents during your time in Thailand
A year ago in January I went to Hua Hin and stayed with my cousin for a couple of weeks. It was a great experience as him and his girlfriend had spent many years in Thailand so we seen a lot of the sites around the area. During my stay we all travelled by car to Ko Pha-Ngan and stayed 3 nights. The ...

Re: What can we learn from living in Thailand?
Living in Thailand mean that you won't get frost bite on any part of your body, like you will if you live north of where I am in Canada. Living in Thailand means you don't have to pay $3000 more for your car in Canada than you do for the same car sold just across the US border in Bellingham Washingt...

Re: Thai Women
Take you time about meeting another woman whether she is Thai or any other nationality. At least 3 years to 5 years to get over your first wife. If you have the money to stay in Thailand then just relax and look around at one of the the market places., or one of the hospitals, Nurses are very friend...

Astronomy Club in Hua Hin?
I hope to spend some time in Hua Hin in March 2014. from about the 8th to 14th. Are there any amateur astronomers or star gazers living in the area?? I tried to find a place in Bangkok that sells telescopes, but then the big flood made it difficult to get around on that trip, and I haven't had any l...

Re: When was your first visit to Hua Hin?
I went through Cha Am and Hua Hin in 1991, travelling by bus. I stayed in a cheap hotel on the main street and spent 2 days in the city. There were lots of tourists, and some expats already living there. The night life was fairly quiet, but still entertaining, and the night markets were interesting....

Re: Cassini Probe
Seeing Earth from Saturn makes me hopeful that more Aliens won't find us for a while yet. It is nice to see our little blue dot from that far away. I think the Icy gang on Pluto will say, Who Cares! That planet thinks this planet is just a dwarf now! Is there an astronomy club in Hua Hin? Stargeezer
