Re: Snakes in the house and garden
Well, I expect better from our Antipodean friends. :duck: We always leave the shoes outside upside down and tilted against a wall, then in the morning I bang them with a mozi zapper to kill as many mozis as possible. Although did have small toad in one once which I found after putting my foot in the...

Re: Camera and photography thread
Can I say KhunLA those photos on your flickr page are amazing. I also have a flickr account with some photos I have taken over the last few years since I returned to photography as a DSLR virgin. When I was a teenager I was using a 35mm Pentax ME Super, mainly for motorsport and airshow photography....

Re: UK bank closing accounts for customers living in Thailand

Recently (last summer), I spoke with a lady from the bank over the phone ref ordering a new pin reader and debit card, to be sent to me in S...

Re: Mangrove Forest @ Sirindorn Environmental Park - Photo Report
Oh, another couple of questions that are possibly relevant ,as I am an amateur photographer, were there any birds seen?. The crabs etc are only seen on low tides, is that correct?

Re: Mangrove Forest @ Sirindorn Environmental Park - Photo Report
Thanks for a very interesting report, Big Boy. Is there an entry fee for this place? I seem to remember having to pay to enter the Palace grounds some years ago. Also, how close can you park near the mangrove area? GN

Re: Procedure for selling property to a foreigner?
That really was my question, he IS wanting to arrange a lease. Is that effectively a rental arrangement and we are still responsible for the property upkeep?

Procedure for selling property to a foreigner?
Hi guys. We are in the process of trying to sell our property in Hua Hin, and now we have an interested party who is asking about the deed. My wife owns the house and land and the buyer is asking about the possibility of a lease. How would this work and is it fairly straight forward? I am assuming t...

Re: Moving to Malaysia?
Thanks all for your inputs. As for the questions about how Thailand is getting worse?, I think in reality the whole world is having problems, isn't it?. So my thought's are just a early panic attack with retirement looming. I know enough about Thailand to plan ahead and deal with things as they happ...

Re: Moving to Malaysia?
Agree HHTel, it is a very attractive proposition to live there but too many hoops I think. We do have properties and land in Hua Hin, but I am looking at alternatives, if things get worse.
