Vet costs must be massive too. They (soi dog foundation) do emergency care for wounded and sick animals. As well as vaccination and neutering programs.

Re: Organized Religion

No. It's because they all put women in a lower class than men, therefore creating the inability to earn a decent wage without selling something ALL men want and are willing to pay top dollar for (excluding places like Thailand). It's definitely food for thought, although off the top of my head I am...

Re: Last baht bus?

In airbnb you can zoom in on any one location and it will show you immediately how many apartments they have in tha...

Re: Organized Religion

If religions were written by men, for men, then it would stand to reason that men would have the upperhand according to that religion.

Re: Organized Religion

Does it matter though if we don't identify as religious? I mean what does it matter to me that Mohammed said that Allah said that my hair should be covered, I'm not Muslim. Does it matter what Jesus thinks about gays or women or abortions or anything, if I am not Christian?

Re: New Member from UK

This may seem mad to some, but quite often I value the chance to have a walk of around that length. no, I get you, I like a walk myself. BKK has become too "heavy duty" walking for me. Hua Hin is most definitely do-able. We stayed a wee bit (maybe 500m) further up soi 102 (further inland)...

Re: New Member from UK

I don't know Samsha Guest House, but I see (thanks to google maps) it's very close to Soi 102, enough bars and eateries in walking distance. But you are a fair wee walk away from the baht bus route, so a car would be handy. We stayed about 400 meters from there this past holiday in May/June. You're ...
