Re: Lawyer - AA&A Service By Apple - Anybody Know Her?

Just send you a pm with her phone number. Apple is 100 % reliable, no worries about that, but i don't know if she can change much for you since it is the owner that decides and can do what she wants, knowing you will never go court for this amount. By the way, with the houses i rented before i never...

Re: Renewal of compulsory car insurance in Cha-Am - help any

@thebears: Okay, here we go: Compulsory: Every registered motor vehicle in Thailand must have the CTPL (compulsory third party liability). The premium for and coverage of a compulsory is the same with every company. For a 4 door car this is 645.21 baht. You have to show a valid compulsory when you p...

Re: Renewal of compulsory car insurance in Cha-Am - help any

What Vincent writes is correct. I presumed you did not have a voluntary insurance. But if you have a 1st, 2nd or 3rd class extra insurance, it is much better to obtain the compulsory at the same company. If you have an accident where a third party is injured, the first part of the hospital costs wil...

Re: Renewal of compulsory car insurance in Cha-Am - help any

There is an office in Cha-Am where you can buy the compulsory and pay the roadtax, people that live in Cha-Am can tell you where it is exactly. Premium for compulsory is the same everywhere. Or just go to a motorbike dealer, almost all can take care for compulsories and the roadtax (for a small fee).

Re: House Insurance

Regretfully it is correct that the majority of the insurance companies have stopped coverage for natural catastrophes for new and renewal policies after the 1st of january. The reason is that the re-insurers (where the insurance companies re-insure their risks, like LLoyds and SwissRe) have decided ...

Re: Taxi Or Car Rental in HH?

Hi Tony, If you rent in Hua Hin DO take Hua Hin Car Rental. Allmost every rental company in Hua Hin will offer you a car with a first class insurance, but these first class insurances will say very clearly: private use, not for hire/rent. This might give you big problems in case of an accident and t...

Re: Health Insurance

That's why I hate insurance companies and would rather keep the money to insure myself (and my house, car, etc,.) in a bank until the need arises. They are generally blood sucking parasites that take from the few to pay for everyone and when you have paid for years and need help they deny your clai...

Re: Health Insurance

One question though, does it really cost £1200 a day to keep a patient, £8400 per week  :? sounds a bit OTT & in fairness a bit cold hearted in the circumstances :| What would happen if the family could'nt afford to pay? which is a likely scenario in a lot of cases  It does not cos...

Re: Van Transport Business

I don't really understand the issue about the insurances. I use the minivan to Bangkok often, and allthough i allways hope to arrive safe and sound, i never worry about the insurance. Since i'm not the driver/owner of the minivan, i'm not responsable for property damage, the only thing i have to car...

All mentioned premiums are anually (but as it is a post of last year, some have changed).
